Making the World of Faunasphere More Habitable While Winning Prizes!
Attention Caretakers! Esteban has discovered a way to help safeguard our lovely world from the encroaching pollution! But he needs the assistance of the entire Faunasphere community! We must aid in the construction of several large Community Projects that will help protect the remaining Fauna habitats. These Community Projects will be revealed in Faunasphere early next week!!
What can we do? We must work together to gather the materials needed to build these Community Projects. These “commodities” must be manufactured, and then collected by us. Here's how:
Build a Totem to Manufacture Commodities:
Receive the “Get on the Totem Grid” goal from the Goal Station in the Rock Garden. This goal will help you build a Totem in your Faunasphere. These Totems will manufacture the commodities needed to help build our Community Projects. After you follow the tasks in this goal you will receive a Totem Idea to place in your Faunasphere.
Start Manufacturing!
Every Caretaker will have the ability to have 1 Totem in their Faunasphere. You can place and move the Totem as you see fit, but you cannot delete it. Each Totem will manufacture one of the 12 commodities needed to build the Community Projects (the Totem decides randomly.) It will cost Lux to manufacture these commodities; nothing comes from nothing after all! You can decide how much Lux you are willing to give to produce these commodities; you deposit the Lux right into the Totem!
Your Totem Becomes a Store:
Your Totem will begin to produce the commodities needed to construct the Community Projects. How quickly these commodities are made is up to you. Be aware however, that the faster your Totem produces commodities, the more expensive it is to run! When the Totem produces a commodity, that commodity will become available for purchase by other Caretakers. Visiting friends and admirers will be able to purchase your commodity at your Totem, and then contribute them to the Community Projects. You can't purchase from your own Totem; you will need to visit other Caretaker’s Faunaspheres to gather materials for yourself! You can withdraw the Lux your Totem makes by selling the materials.
Friends Can Leave You Gifts Using Your Totem!
Part of the Totem is a ‘Gift Box’ that visitors can use to give you gifts! Flowers, building blocks, food, eggs, you name it! You can leave gifts for friends even when they aren’t online!
Your Totem Will Grow as It Levels Up!
Your Totem will grow in power when it brings in more Lux than it consumes, and when you have many Patrons. A Patron is someone who buys over a certain amount of units from you, regardless of cost. You will need to both sell units for a profit and attract Patrons to increase the powers of your Totem. Ignoring one or the other will eventually keep your Totem from growing until you balance them out. As your Totem grows in power, it will be more efficient at producing and storing commodities. It will also change in appearance!

Community Projects: Win Prizes While Improving the Faunasphere Environment!
After visiting your fellow Caretakers' Faunaspheres and purchasing commodities from their Totems, you can contribute them to the Community Projects that will be found in the major hubs throughout Faunasphere.
By donating to a Community Project, you can earn up to 3 unique rewards and receive lottery tickets for a chance to win even neater prizes!
The more you donate, the better your chances of winning the lottery items are! When all the commodities are contributed, the project completes and the prizes are awarded. Your prizes will show up in your Totem Gift Box.
