More Fauna to Love Contest Winners!
So, Who has More Fauna to Love?
After receiving many great essays for our “More Fauna to Love” contest, our choice has been made. Instead of one award, we have decided to hand out seven! Here are the winners with a snippet of their essays:
“I do so solemnly swear that, no amount of SNIFFERS
or sneezes, nor others that FLAPPER and HOPPER to distract me, will keep me from my sacred duties as Caretaker! And if I should ever hatch a lemming, I would SCOOTER over there and SCRATCHER belly to make her legs THUMPER and WRIGGLER. I would HUGGER. and SQUEAKER and name her George..” ~Prpldva
“I love my faunas. I’ve got to the stage where I don’t want to let any of them go and yet… I so want to see what else FS can surprise me with.” ~ Avril01
“My real life dream world would consist of a wildlife refuge, providing a home to all animals in need. This game would make a dream come true through a virtual world. I would love to care for the fauna and would make you proud you chose me as their caretaker!” ~ Julie Hadsall
“I don't have any issues trading or giving eggs to others which was a request in the blogs for whomever wins. Everyone that I have met have been wonderful and would make good care takers.” ~ Sablemable
“I get so attached to all of them and wish I could keep all of them.I also love to help new faunas that comes there and try to help with anything they need,even eggs.” ~bfgoc
“I have been protecting fauna my entire life. I started as a small child taking in misc. cats and dogs over the years. I recently moved to Fl. to help my 84-year young mother. Between us we have dogs Susie, Molly, Jakie, cats Midnight, Woody, Pops. All are rescue animals. Where I use to live was a dumping ground for unwanted pets because it was in the country.” ~Midnight1226
” if there is only ONE position for this extra caretaker role, I want to nominate BFOGC to be that recipient rather than myself!!!
She befriended me the very day I came on, and I have seen her help so many other people. She gave me eggs for nothing...she acts as tour guide, and answers when anyone has a question, she comes as soon as I call her, and she is here all the time!!!!! It is her example that I follow when I help people and give them eggs!!!!” ~silvermist
